About
Auteur Visuel gathers the storytelling work of Jay E. Eff – writer, composer and visual storyteller. The projects begin in text: private lines, poems and lyrics that are written as stories first, then allowed to become music and, finally, images.
Working between français and English, between page, song and screen, Auteur Visuel develops concepts for feature films, limited series, documentary formats and cross-cultural initiatives – always with narrative as the spine.
Current work includes story-led narrative film concepts, a limited series, music-driven visual poems, and a scalable international residency format connecting film schools and festivals.
Practice
Without disclosing story details, the practice can be described as three complementary lines of storytelling work.
Character-driven, visually precise projects: intimate dramas, poetic anti-war pieces and European romances crafted for festivals, art-house distributors and select platforms. Each originates in a written narrative, then grows into screenplay and visual language.
Original songs and bilingual lyrics act as narrative seeds – small stories that can live on their own or unfold into films. Music is treated as another way of telling the story: verses as scenes, refrains as emotional anchors.

A pan-European systems thriller set during the sudden breakdown of Just-in-Time continuity across modern urban Europe. A restrained, intelligent crisis drama about systemic emptiness, institutional lag and ultra-urban fragility.
Reality / Factual Entertainment
A science-led factual entertainment format about how people understand themselves, others and the patterns beneath human behaviour. Built for public-service audiences, international adaptation and discussion beyond the broadcast itself.

A minimalist, mirror-driven drama about identity and the lives we did not choose – conceived for a single lead performance, limited locations and strong festival potential.

A poetic psychological drama told from inside the mind of a teenage girl quietly drowning in her own anxiety. Through a dual-reality structure, the film explores the invisible emotional storm beneath a calm exterior using silence, sensory distortion and intimate voice-over.
Original Music
A growing catalogue of French and English songs – from anti-war pieces to intimate ballads – each conceived as a compact story first and as music second, available both for listening and for adaptation.
